Dragons + Lilies is an emotional blend of power metal and symphonic metal. Its five members are experienced in a wide range of music – from AOR to French chanson to metal to classical music.

All of this results in a form of music that astonishes a lot of people. It’s heavy enough to bang your head to, melodic enough to dance to, should you choose to do so, and catchy enough to sing along to.

Biography

Dragons + Lilies started as a side project in an attic. After a few months of writing and recording, the first demos were placed online. Despite never actually releasing anything else for the next year, the interest in Dragons + Lilies grew. Over 2000 people joined Dragons + Lilies on the Dutch Social Network Hyves, joined by thousands more in MySpace. And right now, we’re introducing Facebook to Dragons + Lilies.

The combination of a series of unexpected physical and technical setbacks and the unexpected succes sparked the decision to transform the project in a band. The stars still smiled as Dragons + Lilies transformed into a band over little more than a month.
